Silver Mountain Water - Project #2

Previously, I worked on the reimagined version of this same perfume, taking into account its vision for the fragrance. Now, I would like to dive deeper into my personal, subjective interpretation — the way I see it, exploring the reasons why it became one of my favorite perfumes.

The impression that Silver Mountain Water leaves on me: Simple, but refined silhouettes and forms. Delicacy. Subtle melancholy. And a portrait of a woman is created in my mind:

***

A woman with a subtle, airy presence. She is introspective, calm, and serious, with many layers. She, whose true self is never fully revealed. Her face is always half-veiled in shadows and remains unknown, even when one looks directly into her eyes. Her gaze is hard to bear; it makes others feel exposed to their own selves.

Yet she is gentle; everything she touches comes alive. There's something heightened and divine about her. If you observe closely, you can see the traces of her path. Her life is written on her face, and yet everything remains secret and unrevealed. She's a woman who knows; a woman who understands.

***

I think this way of representing her is more personal and intimate. That's how I would present it to customers; that's the direction I would give it.

Still, where does this association come from? Maybe the way the points of the mountains are alone at their height. Maybe the way the mountain is far and "high" from the rest of us, the distance between us is great. Maybe because it's so cold and icy, it makes me think of distance, subtle melancholy, yet it carries both grace and silent power at the same time.

If it were up to me, I would focus more on the female figures, the feminine side of the perfume (even though it's a unisex perfume).

Based on these impressions, I started by looking for the images that evoked a feeling similar to the one I felt with Silver Mountain Water perfume, and I assembled a moodboard (click here).
